Subject Gangdong-gu, share 'Healthy city' examples with world

Seoul Gangdong-gu said that they participated in the "The 21st Alliance for Healthy Cities (AFHC) and the international forum" held in Cambodia phnom Phenh as AFHC member of commitiiee and AFHC Korean representative for the last two days.

More than 100 people attended the international forum. including Healthy city ofiicials from all over the world,Cambodian Local officials and healthy city experts, hosted by AFHC, WHO, and phnom Phenh, Cambodia.

On the first day of the conference, in 'the 21st AFHC meeting', they shared the results of the 'AFHC International Conference' held in Wonju in August last year and discussed the conference which will be held in Kuching, Malaysia, in 2018.

The next day, 'The Health city International Forum' was held on the topic of 'Prevention and Management of Non-infectibility Diseases.' Representatives from four cuountries including Lee Hae Sik, the head of Gangdong-gu, Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines had the time to share the cases of prevention and management of non-infectibility diseases.

Lee Hae Sik, the head of Gangdong-gu, received attention from the participants by announcing the examples of 'international cooperation through Healthy city Network'(KHCP healthy city leadership program) and 'prevention and management of health care of Gangdong-gu'(Gangdong health care center) as the leader of Korean Healthy City Community.

Also Lee Hae Sik, the head of Gangdong-gu said,"This international forum provided guideline to healthy city through the sharing of health care cases and establishment of healthy city networks in each country. I will create a community with health in all policies."
