Gangdong-Gu(이해식,head of the gu) will be opening <하반기 공공일자리 참여자 안전교육 및 성희롱 예방교욱(Second Half Public Job Participants Safety Training & Sexual Harassment Prevention)> in the upcoming 2nd of August, 10 AM in the Gandong-Gu office Auditorium. This training is conducted for 215 participants of the second half public jobs, and was arranged to create a safe, sexism-free workplace culture. Safety Training will be composed of a speech by 홍승온(Hong Seoungon), the chief manager of 한국산업안전보건공단(Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, KOSHA). Considering the huge amount of workers at high risks due to the nature of such public employment business, it will be carried out with customized training tailored to the characteristics of the participants. In the ensuing Sexual Harassment prevention education, 정종란(Jung Jongran), the instructor of 한국양성평등교육진흥원(Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion & Education) will give a lecture on "Workplace culture where individual personality is respected and discrimination no longer exists" in various cases of workplace. Gandong-Gu official said, "We consider the workers' safety to be a top priority, due to aging, or out-of-field activities." "We will try our best to ensure their safety by regular safety educations and onsite guidance." He said. Meanwhile, Gangdong-Gu has expanded the coverage so that participants in the public job market can benefit not only from the four major insurances, but as well as general accident insurance. The officials are also carrying out safety campaigns to guide safety terms, as well as providing first-aid training and other supports for a safe work. |
