Cheonho Community Health Center's Zero-Obesity Program Helps Residents Stay Healthy

- Residing doctors and other professionals assist individuals in mapping out health management plans

- The center provides customized service for each participant and many other classes organized to enhance residents’ health

 Gangdong-gu's (head: Lee Soo-hee) Cheonho Community Health Center announced the operation of the so-called zero-obesity program designed to provide residents customized consultations on fighting against obesity as well as create an atmosphere of enhancing individual health and living healthy lives.

 In detail, the program will first practice basic health check-ups for individuals in items like body fat, blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol level. Then as per the result of the check-ups, a medical doctor will help each individual setting up a health management plan accordingly so that each can reach its goal weight. 

 Furthermore, in an effort to maximize the effect of weight loss through building healthy living habits, professionals such as medical doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and sports curers will systematically manage each participant’s eating habits and exercise methods through consultations. Those who wish to join the program must make reservations by calling Cheonho Community Health Center.

 Cheonho Community Health Center operates many other healthcare programs, such as crash courses for healthy lifestyle and walking classes. This year, it is schedule to create new programs related to yoga, pilates, and aerobics.

 Apart from above in-house healthcare programs, Gangdong-gu Office is slated to operate a visiting health clinic aimed at providing service to workers who cannot come to Cheonho Community Health Center during business hours.
