Subject Gangdong-gu to Hold the 2023 One-Stop Career Fair

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung hoon) will hold the "2023 School Year One-Stop Career Fair" online and offline at the Gangdong Art Center on July 8.

This is the first offline fair to be held in three years, and it was designed to help examinees and parents, who had difficulty obtaining information on the college entrance exam due to the prolonged COVID-19, decide the direction of the 2023 school year.

The fair will also hold 1:1 customized counseling on college, college, and major at the same time, along with the "2023 College Entrance Strategy Briefing" to solve questions about overall education from middle school to high school students.

Park Kwon-woo, the author of "Going to college after eating watermelon" and the best public education expert, will be invited to give lectures on the overall college entrance strategy at the Gangdong Art Center Grand Theater.

For students and parents who are unable to listen to on-site lectures, real-time live lectures will be provided through the integrated education portal "Gangdong Future On." However, it is limited to pre-applicants.

After listening to a fruitful lecture at the College Strategy Briefing Session, you can also receive one-on-one customized counseling at the site.

At Gangdong Art Center Studio #1, you can receive university counseling from 14 major university admissions officers, as well as college counseling from the Seoul Advanced Guidance Council and by high school type (general high school, special high school, autonomous high school, and specialized high school). In the lobby on the first floor, college student mentors from about 20 departments will conduct major counseling for middle and high school students who are having difficulty choosing their majors.

An official from Gangdong-gu said, "We hope that this one-stop career advancement fair will be able to give the educational information to examinees and parents," adding, "We plan to provide customized information for each period to help parents in the future."

To participate in the "2023 One-Stop Career Fair", you can apply on a first-come, first-served basis on the website of Gangdong Future On, an integrated education portal, from today (7th) to July 3rd of next month.
