Subject Gangdong-gu Opens "2022 Gangdong Flea Market" for the First Time on 11th

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung hun) announced that it will open its first Gangdong Flea Market this year from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 11 (Sat) at Eoul Madang (in front of Kyunghee University Hospital in Sangil-dong). Earlier, the Gangdong Flea Market, which had continued since 2007, had difficulty operating due to the reduction or cancellation of COVID-19, but it opened for the first time this year in line with daily recovery. The Gangdong Flea Market, which is set to open for the first time this year, will provide a venue for communication and festivals for men and women of all ages, including local food sales by farmers in the jurisdiction, visiting job counseling and family counseling, and balloon art cultural performances.

Gangdong Flea Market, which has been established as a place to sympathize with happiness shared by family and neighbors, can be participated by anyone in Gangdong-gu. Except for holidays due to hot weather or bad weather, it will open on the second and fourth Saturdays from June to October, and will also open on Saturday, June 25. To participate, you can apply in advance through the Gangdong-gu Office website (participation communication > online application > flea market>) on Monday and Tuesday, which belong to the week when Gangdong Flea Market opens, and it will be finally selected through an online lottery.
