Since May 2017, Gangdong-gu Senior Club has been carrying out various senior job projects centering on Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Among them, Gangdong Senior Club Counseling Café, a counseling window exclusively for senior citizens in Gangdong-gu, is a space designed for senior citizens to consult on job projects promoted by autonomous districts in a comfortable atmosphere. The Gangdong Senior Club Counseling Cafe is a plan for the "Gangdong Senior Club" project to support the vibrant retirement of the elderly through the quantitative and qualitative growth of senior jobs. Working hours are flexibly operated 2 to 3 days a week, 2 to 3 hours a day or 3 to 4 hours, and 24 to 30 hours a month. Major projects include the heart-sharing delivery business, in addition to delivering flag poles to wedding halls and funeral halls in Gangdong-gu or nearby areas, and the Raon family workshop business, where senior citizens make and sell various products such as wallets and business card wallets. The second senior club counseling cafe I visited sells coffee, drinks, and hot dogs, and Dutch coffee was also installed and lowered directly. In addition, the cafe exhibits and sells high-quality wooden products made by senior artists with long experience in carpentry, as well as high-quality products such as cutting boards and wallet pens. Prices are cheaper than on the market.
