Gangdong-gu, Seoul, announced on the 6th that it will hold the "2022 Environmental Works Contest" to improve youth's environmental awareness on the occasion of Environment Day in June. The district will hold a contest under the theme of "Comfortable Environment Sustainable Green City Gangdong" for teenagers living in Gangdong-gu or attending elementary and middle schools in the region. The contest will be held in two categories: paintings and webtoons, and will be divided into elementary school, elementary school, high school, and middle school. A total of 36 people (6 outstanding, 12 outstanding, and 18 encouragement) will be selected and awarded. The standard of the work is based on 8 sections (394mm×272mm) for elementary school students and 4 sections (545mm×394mm) for middle school students. Webtoons (comics) can be drawn on a drawing paper of verse 4 (545mm x 394mm) and submitted. You can download and fill out the application form for participation in the environmental work contest and consent form for collection of personal information from the website of Gangdong-gu Office, and attach the work to the back and submit it by mail to the clear environment department of Gangdong-gu Office. The award-winning works will be used to promote the district related to environmental preservation, and will also be displayed at the Gangdong-gu Office Open Garden and Cheonho Underground Walkway in the upcoming June Environment Day event. Lee Jung-hoon, head of Gangdong-gu District Office, said, "I hope this contest will serve as an opportunity for students to have the right perception of environmental protection and think about the importance of environmental conservation." |
