Subject Online Issuing the Notice of Corona 19 Quarantine.

Gangdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Jung hun) announced on the 4th that it has established an online issuance system on the website of Gangdong-gu Office so that quarantine notices can be issued conveniently anytime, anywhere.
Recently, the number of COVID-19 confirmed patients in Gangdong-gu has soared to nearly 5,400 a day, and related tasks such as notification of test results and guidance on home treatment are also exploding. In particular, the number of requests for issuance of quarantine notices has reached 28,000 in the past week, delaying the issuance period by more than three days, adding to the burden of work at the public health center.
In response, the district quickly established a related system to resolve inconveniences for residents who are delayed in handling civil complaints and relieve the workload of their employees, and from the 4th, Gangdong-gu residents can read and print quarantine notices through self-certification on the Gangdong-gu Office website.
Although the issuance of quarantine notices through text messages to home remedies has been improved, requests for additional issuance through visits, phones, and the Internet have been accumulated, making it difficult to handle related complaints. However, the establishment of the system through cooperation between departments is expected to significantly reduce residents' inconvenience by registering confirmed patient information collected by inspection institutions and hospitals in the website database.
As everyone is having a hard time with COVID-19, the local government-level infectious disease response and management system has become a key project for residents' welfare, said Lee Jung-hoon, head of the district office. "Our district will continue to improve the response system until COVID-19 ends."
