Subject Gangdong Youth Entrepreneurship SPACE.

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung hun) began operating "Gangdong Youth Startup SPACE," a startup incubating space that supports stable management activities and continuous growth of young entrepreneurs on March 2.

Gangdong Youth Startup SPACE is a space that provides work space, technology, management consulting, and networking to young entrepreneurs with excellent technology and growth potential in line with the rapidly increasing demand for start-up spaces, and is the third youth start-up base space in Gangdong-gu after Cheonho-daero 1057.

The "Youth Startup SPACE" was created last year by receiving donations from the second floor of Cheonho Station Hangang Youth Housing (Cheonho-daero 989, exclusive area of about 153㎡), and consists of 11 ▲ co-working spaces ▲ conference rooms ▲ conference rooms ▲ restrooms.

Within seven years, four of the 19 companies that publicly recruited tenant companies from January 28 to February 13 and supported them will move in through procedures such as document screening and presentation evaluation.

It will provide work space for start-up activities at a low cost to tenant companies, and provide various programs to help tenant companies grow, such as meetings with tenant companies and intensive care consulting for tenant companies.

It also plans to provide useful information on start-up practices such as "start-up mentoring" and "start-up academy one-day classes" and start-up support services that can help businesses in reality for (preliminary) entrepreneurs and residents interested in start-ups.

The success of youth start-ups will be an important growth engine for Gangdong's regional economic development in the future, said Mayor Lee Jung hun, head of Gangdong-gu District Office. "We will continue to do our best to establish Gangdong-gu as a mecca for youth start-up culture."
