Subject Playing Folk Games in iMOM Gangdong

Gangdong-gu (mayor Lee Jung hun) has prepared a folk game program to enjoy at the "iMOM Gangdong" open playground to mark the first holiday of the year.

The event, which began on the 24th and runs until Feb. 28, will remind parents of their childhood memories, such as large-scale Yutnori, Tuho and Jegichagi, and will be free to experience and teach their children with various games that will teach them the fun of Korea's traditional games.


"iMOM Gangdong" is one of the space welfare projects that Gangdong-gu has created a child care-friendly environment, and currently has eight branches and is very popular, so competition for reservations is fierce.

In addition to creating different themes that will enhance children's imagination and sensibility, the company has divided the space into the toy library where parents can borrow toys for their kids and an open playground where children can freely play.

Currently, the Open Playground is operated at six branches (Seongnae, Gangil, Cheonho Park, Godeok, Gildong, and Amsa Market), and the number of users is limited by Corona 19, and reservations must be made in advance through the Gangdong Children's Center website. Even if you haven't made a reservation, you can use the "wheel-drive toy library" that delivers and lends toys to your home.

Mayor Lee Jung hun, said, "We improve user satisfaction by internalizing the operation of 'iMOM Gangdong', a representative care infrastructure facility in Gangdong, and systematically promote childbirth, childcare, and family-friendly policies to make infants and families happy in Gangdong-gu District."
