Gangdong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Jung-hoon) announced on the 24th that as the Myeongil 1-dong Community Center was scheduled to be demolished due to the promotion of the Gangdong Advanced Complex Complex Development Project, it has moved to a temporary building (1634, 2nd floor) that can carry out the administrative work during the construction of the new building. The newly relocated building houses the Dong Community Center, Gangdong-gu Family Center, and the District Youth Center Daycare Center (scheduled for moving in at the end of February), and is located right in front of Exit 3 and 4 of Myeongil Station on Subway Line 5, providing convenience for residents. The opening ceremony was held in the order of facility viewing and tape cutting, attended by a minimum number of people under the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, including Gangdong-gu mayor Lee Jung-hoon and other local residents. Gangdong-gu Mayor Lee Jung-hoon said, "We expect the Gangdong High-tech Complex to greatly contribute to the revitalization of the local economy by improving the quality of life for local residents and securing happy housing and parking lots in traditional markets." Meanwhile, the Gangdong Advanced Complex will be integrated with the existing government building and the youth center site to build a community center, swimming pool, daycare center, family center, and happy house with five basement floors and 15 ground floors, and will be completed in the second half of 2024. Gangdong is trying hard to make Gangdong-gu more convenient city by accepting people’s dissatisfaction, and make up by establishing facilities like this case. Gangdong Advanced Complex will make people to live a life more conveniently. |
