<Child health care, smart even in the COVID-19 era> As the obesity rate continues to increase due to unbalanced eating habits and decreased physical activity of children and adolescents, Gangdong-gu has a "moving classroom" project to prevent childhood obesity. A healthy and happy school model has been developed and actively promoted. In the classroom, the school was remodeled to naturally increase physical activity, breaking the stereotype of sitting still and taking classes. It supported height adjustment desks and exercise equipment, and also trained and managed lifestyle improvement. As a result, it actually showed the effect of improving lifestyle habits such as increased balanced intake and increased physical activity, and in July, it won the best prize at the 6th Korea Healthy City Award Contest. Even at a time when school classes were disrupted due to the spread of COVID-19, personalized health care was supported by using non-face-to-face methods such as ICT-based mobile apps. It provided physical activity programs and nutrition education through videos and helped maintain good lifestyles through regular 1:1 non-face-to-face counseling. This year, the KakaoTalk channel "Moving Classroom Healthy School" has been opened to provide health information to more students. <Cheonho Aureum Center(어우름 센터)> The Cheonho Aureum Center (Gucheon-myeon-ro 297-5), a complex health, welfare and cultural facility, will hold an opening ceremony on November 30 (Tue). With a total area of 1,955.04㎡ and two stories above the ground, it is a space that encompasses the Cheonho Health Center, a single-person household support center, a fitness center, and a social economy innovation place. It is expected to contribute to improving the quality of life of residents and establishing integrated infrastructure in Gucheon-myeon by providing various health and welfare services in Amsa and Cheonho areas, where access to health institutions was poor. |
