Subject 2022 Hope Ondol Warm Wintering Project-Temperature Tower of Love

An anecdote announced on the 16th that it participated in the unveiling ceremony of the "2022 Hope Ondol Warm Wintering Project-Temperature Tower of Love" organized by Gangdong-gu Office in Seoul to help neighbors in need ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays.

The event, which was held on the first floor of Gangdong-gu Office's main building, was attended by Gangdong-gu District Mayor Lee Jung-hoon, Gangdong-gu Council Vice Chairman Je Gap-seop, Seoul Community Chest of Korea Vice Chairman Park Yong-joo, and Ilhwa Vice President Kim Yoon-jin.

An anecdote, which participated as the first donor of a company scheduled to move into Godeok Biz Valley, a high-tech business complex in Gangdong-gu, donated about 50 million won worth of premium red ginseng products to local neighbors suffering from the COVID-19 situation.

Ilhwa's premium red ginseng product is made of red ginseng concentration and red ginseng saponin, and 15 subsidiary ingredients such as milk vetch root, jujube, youngji mushroom, medicinal leaves, and arrowroot roots are expected to help local residents boost their vitality and recover from fatigue in winter.

The warm wintering project is a year-round project jointly carried out by the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and 25 autonomous districts. The temperature tower thermometer of love was created to induce active participation of local residents by directly checking the temperature of sharing, which is the status of fundraising, and donations raised by region are delivered to vulnerable groups such as crisis families and basic livelihood recipients, second-highest, and single elderly.

Lee Jung-hoon, head of Gangdong-gu District Office, said, "I think it is very meaningful that the first donor was born in Godeok Biz Valley, a business city where local and businesses coexist, and I sincerely thank you for your donation."

As the overall economy shrinks due to COVID-19, more and more local residents are in need of help, Ilhwa Vice President Kim Yoon-jin said. "I hope this donation will help a little during the implementation of a step-by-step daily recovery and the cold winter."
