Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Jung hun) announced that the access road to the historic site in Amsa-dong has been created as a "road to Prehistoric times " a street of culture and arts with 6,000 years of history. The "Road to Prehistoric times " was designed to provide residents with unique and enjoyable experiences while going to Amsa-dong ruins by installing prehistoric sculptures and works throughout the walkway from Seonsa Elementary School (837 Olympic-ro, Gangdong-gu) to Amsa-dong ruins (875 Olympic-ro, Gangdong-gu). Park Eun-sun's "Double Existence-Space" work was installed in the area of Amsa-dong 138, which expresses the perspective and insight into the natural value and meaning of space and existence, based on the motif of the prehistoric residential space. Residents passing through the road can no longer meet the boundaries of the past, present, and real and virtual, but connections of them through the huge wall of time on the road of Amsa-dong Historic Site. In addition, direction signs and information signs were installed to make it easier to visit the historic site in Amsa-dong, and Gangdong-type public design such as a green belt fence was applied to street facilities to create a harmonious and calm street atmosphere. The idle space, which was underutilized in Amsa-dong Historic Site Square, was renovated into a public space where visitors can enjoy and rest, and lights were installed for residents to use at night. The historic site in Amsa-dong is a representative historical resource in Gangdong-gu and can be accessed on foot from Amsa Station, Gangdong-gu Mayor Lee Jung hun said. "Through this created cultural and artistic street 'The Road to Prehistoric times, residents will be able to enjoy a different culture and art experience and beautiful scenery." |
