Subject Gangdong Cultural Foundation holds the 12th 'Gangdong Book Festival'

Library of Gangdong-gu under Gangdong Cultural Foundation holds the 12th Gangdong Book Festival for four days, starting from the 12th of October. With its slogan saying 'Let's go back to innocence, Let's be together, Let's melt the cold', this event, both online and off-line, is aimed to melt the hearts of the district inhabitants frozen by Covid-19, and help them to go back again to their innocent times of puerility.

Starting from the 12th of October, the residents can experience 7 various contents in the official website of Gangdong Book Festival. They include I-Sisun Counseling Center that melts the frozen hearts of residents by perspectives of children, Mailbox of children that recommends books tailored to the stories that are requested, Bookface where people can upload fun pictures taken with the book cover and receive gifts and so on, the contents by which people can reminisce the young days. There also will be performance videos of "Daon Orchestra" and "Harmony Choir", composed of residents.

On the 16th, the last day, an offline event will be held at Gangdong Art Center where you can meet singer Kim Chang-wan and his talk concert "Ungamsaengsim innocence" and the winners of the National Literature and Commerce Competition.

"We hope that hope will bloom in the hearts of residents tired of COVID-19", said Lee Jung Hun, the mayor of Gangdong-gu District Office. "We will continue to make efforts to discover various contents so that they can enjoy the cultural festival without worrying about Covid-19."
