Subject | Opening of the Historic Site Protection Hall in Amsa-dong, Gangdong-gu. | ||
Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung hun) will open a new viewing facility, "Yugu Protection Hall," on the 8th at the historic site No. 267 Amsa-dong, Seoul, a Neolithic historic site representing Korea. Previously, the Amsa-dong ruins conducted an academic excavation survey from 2016 to 2018 to illuminate the academic value of the ruins. Through excavation, several burnt Neolithic dwellings and Three Kingdoms period dwellings were discovered, and important artifacts such as comb-pattern pottery, jade tools, and black stone were excavated, drawing attention from academia. The remains protection angle is a space for preserving important historical traces discovered through surveys between 2016 and 2017 and using them as educational sites. As part of the government subsidy project for the maintenance of cultural properties, construction will begin in 2020 and be disclosed to residents on the 8th after construction design, recording, and preservation projects in 2018. It was designed to help visitors understand through reproduction, video, and voice so that they can vividly look into the excavation site along the viewing path inside the protection angle. In addition, the soil floor is displayed about 3m deep, giving a glimpse of the formation process of the ruins of Amsa-dong, which have been passed thousands of years from the Neolithic Age to the present day, and traces of the old people. Anyone who visits the ruins of Amsa-dong can visit the protected pavilion, and in commemoration of the completion of the protected pavilion, you can first see it online on Gangdong-gu Office YouTube at 5 p.m. on the 8th. Inquiries about the details of the Amsa-dong Historic Site Protection Pavilion can be made to the Culture and Arts Division of Gangdong-gu Office. Gangdong-gu mayor Lee Jung hun said, "As the construction of the remains of Amsa-dong is completed, we hope that the remains of Amsa-dong will be used as a prehistoric culture education space." |
