Gangdong-gu, Seoul, won the "Minister of Public Administration and Security Award" in the field of knowledge administration at the 10th Korea Knowledge Awards in 2021 organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

According to the district on the 22nd, the Korea Knowledge Awards is an award established in 2012 to discover and share best practices of administrative, public, and private institutions to spread knowledge-based administrative and management culture.
