Subject Gangdong-gu is selected the best district for the 2021 joint government evaluation.

Gangdong-gu, Seoul, announced on the 17th that it has been selected as the best district in the 2021 Joint Government Evaluation organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security and has secured a budget of 33 million won.

The 2021 Joint Government Evaluation evaluates the achievements of state commissioned affairs, state-funded projects, and state-led policies carried out by 17 metropolitan cities and provinces nationwide throughout 2020. Gangdong-gu achieved a perfect score in 41 of a total of 52 indicators as a result of performance evaluation by 25 autonomous districts conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government based on the evaluation of metropolitan governments by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

In particular, in the qualitative index, 9 out of 10 indicators received perfect scores. In particular, local governments across the country have introduced or are pushing for the introduction of disposable goods reduction and environmental improvement of sanitation centers through the ice pack recycling project selected as excellent cases. In the meantime, the district has inspected the performance of various indicators every month and intensively managed them to achieve the goals of the projects, while regularly training each indicator manager.

Due to the efforts of the district, it was highly praised in areas such as ▲ the rate of self-support work participants ▲ the rate of achievement of job targets for senior citizens ▲ the rate of achievement of greenhouse gas reduction efforts ▲ the rate of improvement of gender impact assessment policies.
