Subject | 3 Best Seoul Tteokbokki Restaurants-Jini’s Tteokbokki | ||
In Kang-dong gu there is a famous place where you have to go and try. It is ‘Jini’s Tteokbokki’! Tteokbokki(literally translated “stir-fried rice cake”) is a spicy Korean dish made with rice cake called tuk and it is a No. 1 street food in Korea. Among many Tteokbokkis, Jini’s Tteokbokki was chosen to be one of top three Tteokbokki restaurants in Seoul. It is opens from 6AM to 11PM and you should better make a reservation or really hurry up. Since you might have to wait for 5 hours and even if you wait, you might not be able to eat it because they stop selling just because run out of the ingredients. There are only 4 dishes at this place; tteokbokki, odeng, fried dish, and sundae. People say Tteokbokki is not spicy compared to others, so it will really suitable for the ones who are not good at eating spicy foods. Moreover, it is really soft but also chewy that most people won’t be able to stop eating it. Also, they use sugar for fried dish so it is sweet and delicious. (The good news is that all the menu here is really cheap.) This place has really a long history since it was opened more that 20 years ago and there are still many people searching for this place. I hope that you will decide to go to Jini’s Tteokbokki for lunch when you visit Kang-dong gu. I am sure that you won’t regret your choice. 19 Danji, Dongnam, Gangdong-gu Tel. 02-481-2585 |
