There are some people suffering from this crazy hot weather. Especially, the old are more vulnerable to heat. Here are some tips for taking care of your health. 1. Pay attention to weather forecast on TV or radio every day. 2. Be careful when you go out between 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Don’t go out if possible and take rest at home. 3. Have a light meal and drink much water. - Abstain from drinking caffeine, sweet beverage, and alcohol. 4. Take on air conditioner or fan in well-ventilated condition, and close the curtains to hide sunshine. - Take a shower with cool water. 5. Go to ‘무더위 쉼터(Mudeowi Shwimteo, rest area in which can avoid the heat)’ like Community Service Center, Silver Hall, or Village Hall. - Get information of where is ‘무더위 쉼터’ from Community Service Center or City Hall or Gangdong-gu office. Unfortunately, if you feel strange, follow this. 1. Go to cooler place – airy places like under the shade or indoor places that have air conditioner – when you feel dizziness, headache, nausea, muscle cramps. 2. Drink cold water, take off outwears, sprinkle cold water on your skin, cooling your body with fans. 3. Call 119 for help, cooling your body as soon as possible. |
